Write to [email protected] about a correction, a missing fact, a privacy question, or a page that is hard to use. Include the page address.
What a useful message contains
A correction is easier to check when the message names the page, the sentence, and the stock, process, or job the article is about. A note that points at one paragraph is easier to place than a claim that “the yield article is wrong.” If you are asking for a fact to be added, say which stock and which process the fact belongs to, so it is not pasted onto a different one.
Do not send identity documents in a first message.
Cookies and advertising
Questions about cookies or advertising belong first on the Privacy page and the cookie and cache policy. Email if something on those pages is still unclear. Include the page address.
What this address cannot do
This mailbox is not an emergency channel. If someone is injured at a machine, they use local emergency services. An email reply is not help on the shop floor.
The editorial team does not nest a job from a description, does not say which machine or blade to buy, and does not give a controller menu, a G-code recipe, a procedure for defeating an interlock, or a way to open a high-pressure waterjet or a high-power laser.
How replies work
There is no postal address and no telephone number for editorial mail. There is no promise of a same-day reply, and there is no one on duty for a machine that is still cutting. If the message is a correction, the useful outcome is a change to the page, not a personal cutting plan.
