slicekey.com is an independent editorial publication. It is not a machine maker, a materials supplier, a job shop, or a standards body. The guides are general information. They are not a nest, a quote, or factory instructions.

Accuracy and its limits

Effort to be accurate is not a warranty. A kerf, a yield, a speed, or a standard applies only to the stock, the process, and the source the article names. Model, thickness, wear, and a different machine change the slot. If a sentence is wrong for the thing it describes, write to [email protected] with the page address. That is how a factual error gets fixed. It is not a nest for the reader’s job.

The reader’s decision

The reader is responsible for the decision at the cutter and for any work on a machine or a nest. Reading the site does not create a professional relationship. The Safety page states the limits that apply across the guides. The Terms page is the longer statement of how the writing may be used.

Links leave the site. The publication does not control the other page.

Pictures

A photograph is an example under the licence in the caption. It is not a picture of the reader’s stock or machine, and it is not evidence that the reader’s cut left the same slot.

Advertisements

The site does not sell equipment. An advertisement, when one is shown, comes from the advertising vendor. It is not a recommendation, a review, or a statement that a product fits the reader’s machine. About, Contact, Safety, Privacy, Cookies, Disclaimer, and Terms do not carry ads.
